SYNOPSIS

We are in the midst of an energy and digital transition that continues to evolve, powering a rapid change in the way we work from just a decade ago. The new definition of ”Information Technology” has expanded far beyond the traditional context of the hardware, software and connectivity required on a day-to-day basis into the sphere of data collection and processing to build insightful trending for better decision-making. ”Artificial Intelligence” has become the new catch phrase, “Data Scientist” became the sexist job of the 21st century according to Harvard Business Review, and Forbes has identified the ”democratization” of data science as the biggest trend in 2022. Data has become the new oil of this digital era. What do these changes mean to us?
This webinar intends to share on the latest applications of big data and Internet of Things (IoT) for the Malaysian oil and gas offshore structures that have transformed the way engineers work towards achieving the net-zero carbon emission by 2050, production optimization, operational improvement and asset life extension.
