SYNOPSIS
When selecting bearings for any purpose, ultimately we want to be certain of achieving the required level of equipment performance, and robustness, at the lowest possible cost. There are key factors we must consider when putting together the bearing specifications for an application. Bearing general knowledge and Bearing selection process are two main critical factors needed for this purpose. Basic selection principles must be applied in order to achieve the desired performance.
BIODATA OF SPEAKER
En. Zainul Rashid Shamsudin is currently the Senior Application Engineer in SKF Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. with around 16 years of experience in the industry. He completed his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) degree in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 1997. He has completed his training at SKF College and Research & Development Centre in the Netherlands.
