ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

- Introduce Professional Mechanical Consulting Engineering service to new
  Mechanical Engineers.
- A brief run through of Mechanical design engineering practice.
- To prepare course participants for further training in specific Mechanical
  engineering practice


BIODATA SPEAKER

Ir. Ts. Mohd Kamal Haziq is a registered Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC Ir. – Mechanical) and a registered Professional Technologist (Ts.) who has significant experience pertaining to the M&E / MEP services. He has proven his competency by passing the Professional Interview and then the Professional Competency Examination (PCE). He graduated from the University of Manchester, UK and obtained an M.Eng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has had the experience of handling several high profile mega-projects in Kuala Lumpur, namely the KVMRT Line 1, KVMRT Line 2 and the TRX projects. He has extensive experience of the management of various stakeholders in different projects, ranging from Authority personnel, clients, consultants, contractors and equipment manufacturers / vendors / suppliers. He is also versed in the areas of Contracts Administration and Project Management, in addition to being a Certified Trainer with HRDF. He is an enthusiastic engineer who aspires to contribute to the Engineering Fraternity, and has given engineering talks to a number of Institutions of Higher Learning..
