SPEAKER’S PROFILE
Mr. Michael Fun started his career in IBM Malaysia before moving on to spend several years journeying through the telecommunications industry, building extensive experience in IP-based communications via Satellite & Wireless technologies, which includes serving as an international sales agent representing a Russian Manufacturer for high capacity wireless broadband equipment for the Asian region.
Michael ventured into entrepreneurship in his early 30s and founded several IT-related businesses, expanding his business interest in the areas of Video Surveillance, Data Analytics and Wireless Communication solutions. His other business area is in the development of Enterprise Middleware Software Solutions and in the distribution of Computer Infrastructure security and anti-malware solutions. Michael had been invited to speak regularly on subject related to Safer Internet and Online Security by Cybersecurity Malaysia and other organizations promoting a Safer Internet Experience.
He is currently an active promoter of the practical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Analytics for Smart & Safe city initiatives with ITMAX SYSTEM SDN BHD in his capacity as Chief Marketing Officer.
