SYNOPSIS
This award-winning landmark and iconic project with extremely tight construction schedule, started construction in 2014 and delivered successfully in 2017 with Qlassic score of 81% and within budgeted cost.
Extraordinary architecture featured an elevated skyscraper complex which consist of three (3) high buildings up to 22 storeys, starting with a height of 28m to 40m above the ground.
All the three (3) blocks were supported by a series of inclined freestanding 2.0m and 2.5m diameter mega columns ranging from 28m to 40m in height, without any intermediate bracing. These inclined freestanding mega columns were designed to support the massive transfer slab ranging up to 1.8m thick at the height of 28m to 40m above ground level. For each tower the horizontal different from level 8 to rooftop was 4.5 m outward. This makes the building structure inclined together with the unitized glass panel. Beside the inclination, the curvature façade creates the glass panel to be distorted. This project has achieved new record by reaching a milestone of 5.5 million Man Hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI), a milestone, which was recognized with a Gold Award by Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd. It was also awarded the “Safety and Health Award” in The Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Awards 2017 organized by CIDB Malaysia and Ministry of Works Malaysia.
