CIPAA is an Act to facilitate regular and timely payment inthe Construction Industry. Reference of payment dispute to CIPAA requires a construction contract in writing and discharge of burden of proof by the parties. It is therefore a good practice for parties to ensure proper documentation throughout the course of works in anticipation of CIPAA.This webinar looks at the various type of documents required for claims and defenses in a CIPAA proceeding.

Ir. Ang Kok Keng has a degree in Civil Engineering, Master’s degree in Engineering Management and a Diploma in International Arbitration with 20 years’ of experience in the Construction Industry.

Ir. Ang Kok Keng sits on the panel of Adjudicator in Asian International Arbitration Centre and Mediator in Malaysian Mediation Centre. He regularly acts as counsel in adjudication proceedings under CIPA Act 2012 and PAM Arbitration.
He is also the member of MIARB, MSADJ, MMC, SCL and TAE (Practising Associate).
